Have you ever wanted to learn Japanese but you never dared to start? Have you tried to learn the writing system alone and it felt overwhelming? Here is your chance to learn how to write in Japanese with someone who went through the same doubts as you.

Hi, I’m Olive, and as a native French speaker, I know how hard it is to learn Japanese. But I managed to learn the different Japanese writing systems, and I’m here to help you start your dream!

Together, we’ll practice hiragana, some katakana, and simple kanji. You’ll write your first words (name, date of birth, anime characters...). You’ll also get to see real Japanese books, where you’ll try to recognize the characters we’ll learn. I will show you different types of Japanese textbooks so you can make an informed decision when the time comes to buy your own.
